Whistleblowing

Heroes and Heroines CIC (Community Interest Company) is committed to maintaining the highest standards of integrity and ethical behaviour in all our activities. We value the contributions of our participants, and volunteers and we recognise the importance of providing a safe and respectful environment for everyone involved in our Live Action Role-Playing (LARP) events and activities.

This Whistleblowing Policy is designed to provide a framework for reporting concerns about misconduct, unethical behaviour, or any other wrongdoing within Heroes and Heroines CIC, its events or the company. We encourage all individuals associated with our organisation to report any concerns they may have in good faith and without fear of retaliation.

Safeguarding

Heroes and Heroines has 35 years’ experience running events for people of many ages. During our events whilst a source of escape and enjoyment for participants have always been very aware about safeguarding our members, adults and young people alike.

To keep them safe we have a robust set of safeguarding rules we continually update to ensure everyone’s safety.

Food and Drink on Events

Photographs and Videos

At Heroes and Heroines CIC, we recognise that photography and video are an important part of the Live Action Roleplaying (LARP) experience. Many participants enjoy capturing the moments and sharing them on social media to celebrate their experiences with the community. We fully support this practice, as it adds to the enjoyment and sense of community within our events.
