The World of Heroes and Heroines

This page contains information about the world of Idenia (the larger world of Heroes and Heroines Live Action Roleplaying/LaRP) and Eden (The continent from which most characters come from)

The Basics

The world on which Heroes and Heroes and Heroines takes place is called 'Idenia' Idenia is made up of 5 continents, which vary in size from Caiso'Tan which is roughly the size of Asia, to Eden, which is roughly the size of Western Europe.

Most player characters come from the continent of Eden, which is where the player nation of The Protectorate is based. All player characters represent The Protectorate (although they may have come from anywhere in Idenia!)

The world of Heroes and Heroines is roughly similar to other fantasy worlds insomuch as it is technologically comparable to medieval Europe; No electricity, no gunpowder and little in the way of advanced world knowledge. What the population of Idenia lacks in technology, however, it makes up for in magic and spiritual intervention, which are fairly commonplace, particularly among the residents of The Protectorate.

The game of Heroes and Heroines follows adventurers from The Protectorate, who, through their various adventures and activities, help to solve or cause many of the problems facing the world as a whole.
