hello all you lovely people.

I've had a bit of bad news recently in that I have been diagnosed with hip displacia, this basically means my hips are not fully enclosed within a socket and as such partially dislocate causing pain and discomfort.
As a result of this I've been told to stop running and to avoid any sports, which I feel may make Larping a little difficult.
I am fully intending to continue as long as I can, but as surgery appears to be the next step for me I won't be signing up for any events in the new year until I know how bad things will be.

I really hope I can still come and play even if I have to construct a Larp safe Zimmer frame for Muffy.

I am very sorry to hear that Tori - if it comes to it you can borrow my Zimmer.
Afraid I will not see you at Solstice (away on holiday) so have a good time!

This is terrible news Tori...not just from a selfish perspective because it is so much fun having you on events but it sounds very painful. Hope you manage to sort it out and look forward to seeing you at Solstice so that we can smother you in sympathy and drown all our sorrows in alcohol!!!!

Sorry to hear your news. I won't be doing Solstice either, but as Chris says we will surely find a way. Just say the word and work on the war-segway will begin! Chin up!
