OK guys, I have a nice shiney new feature for all you refs out there... Event Images:

If you're feeling creative, or imaginative you can create or select an image which you think nicely represents your event, and then add it through the 'upload' button on the event editing interface... The default is a rotating set of images from other events, but if you upload your own then it will be displayed instead e.g. here:
