November thanks

Firstly a huge thank you to Alex and Wayne for a truly epic event.

Another massive thank you to all the monsters for being truly terrifying and not holding back to try to kill the players in proper heroic style.

And finally an enormous thank you to the players who enabled me to survive numerous severings, broken bones, bolt tens and all maner of other hideous effects.

Highs for me:
- D'ae/Eth going "kabluey" at the end of the event
- The Zaru fight and being saved from certain death by Farakeen
- The Illurian fight when we arrived in Illuria
- Bringing the two meteorites together while huddled in a 10 ft anti magic shell
- Tiny as the Talos with Jackie being dragged behind him in chains
- Crossing the wobbly bridge across the river of souls
- Banshees!!!!!!!

Interesting bits:
- Fear 128 ranks, Terror, Fear 128 ranks....rinse and repeat
- Seeing Tiny's upper arm after being "Eiched" all weekend sorry Tiny
- Sever, instant regen, sever, cure mortal, sever, heal....undodgable firebolt 5 (4 hit points remaining)
- Being so tired on Monday....but it was a good tired

Many, many thanks for an awesome event to everyone who made it possible, especially Alex and Wayne. The set pieces were very well done and the fights challenging.
Highlights:
Beating down Thomas as a dark power using Illurian Friday night after using my holy bolt
The river of Souls and the Master's lair
Taking most of Tiny's life off him as a guard of the High Inquisiter in an epic fight only to see Loki run in and kill him with two blows.
Sunday morning; 25 Octs/Septs, two heals, lots of mortals, followed by.....
Oct paralysis, followed by.....
"there are 8 Illurians charging at me, everyone else is running, I am paralysed, this is not going to end well: what will get me first, 8 Illurians or Dae's bomb...."
The whole event was HEROIC!

Best bits:

That moment, stood on a bridge over a river of souls as the blow hits my foot and I hear the word "Knockback".

D'ae telling me that when she calls Eth, to take her sword as it'll be the only decent magical weapon we'll have, and then when she changes realising that there is no way in hell that I am going to take her sword off her.
