Hey everyone.

Great to see you all this weekend, it has been too long for many.

A big thanks to Ant, David and the Monster crew for an excellent, memorable and unusual event. Always great to have a few "I might die here" moments, and I certainly had a couple. Ant and his amazing glowy hand OF DEATH. AND DEATH. AGAIN! :) And the endless mindlock of choppy violence. That was rather close too. :)
And of course, always a pleasure to go out with the heroic crew, old and new. A new take on the way to play, and certainly something to think about for a more "freeform" adventure style for the future - occasionally anyway. :)

See you soon? Well, hopefully October.

All the best until next time everyone.
Gavin.

A big thank you to Ant, Dave and the monster crew for a truly epic event. It's not every day you get to invade and conquer a country!
Highs for me:
- Not having a scooby what we were going to encounter and being asked "So where shall we teleport you to?"
- The big map and slowly unraveling what was going on...and having to make hideous decisions with limited knowledge
- Fighting with an awesome party...and having a weeks worth of skills over a single weekend
- The variety of monsters and the mix of diplomacy and epic fights
- Luke getting a mask stuck to his face and Dai and Loki arguing over an egg
- Blowing up a dam OMG!!!!
- Persuading the monster crew and party to do "one last encounter" on Saturday night - it was worth it wasn't it?
- The lighthouse encounter
- The clever way the site was used to set up encounters and the props - those eggs were so realistic!

And a couple of downers
- Not actually doing the pirate encounter
- Not having enough days to complete the epic encounters at the end in time in

Well done again. All that planning definitely paid off. In all one of the most memorable events ever! Thank you.
