Friday 10th January 2014 - This week i have mostly been trying to get on top of the spammers: We were getting roughly 20 spammers creating accounts a day (despite counter-measures!) and a similar number of spam posts in the public forums, which then need to be deleted. Through ruthless IP banning, and the cunning use of some IP range bans, we're now only getting the odd spam account, which is easy to deal with, and only occasional spam posts... Fingers crossed that the IP purge has fixed the problems so I can get on with finishing the event signup system!
