Hi Peter. Sorry for the delay in responding; I've been on holiday!
To monster you'll need black trousers, a black top, a belt, sleeping kit (sleeping bag, pillows, pyjamas, teddy bear) a torch plus food and beer for the weekend... It's also useful to bring a sense of humour and a tankard...
You'd be more than welcome on my September event if you want to come along!
Seb

The ranks basically dictate the levels of the characters which the event suitable for... Like in Dungeons and Dragons where a scenario will say "suitable for 4th - 6th level characters".
We've got several members who live in Gloucester, so we'll put out a call a few weeks before the event to see if they can give you a lift...
E-mail:
committee@heroesandheroines.org a few weeks before to remind us!

hey sebsmith you mention that you needed to bring food, does that mean to bring things to snack on or actual food for meals and such

Actual food and meals... We don't generally run catered events, since we're keen to keep costs down for participants, and prefer to allow people to be able to make their own food choices... Also there are various people with food allergies which makes it difficult to do large scale catering...
However, quite often participants will work together, with one person cooking for a load of other people... e.g. on the June event I ran, Tori cooked pulled pork for about 10 of us on Saturday night, and we just gave her a fiver each to cover her costs... Generally participants will put round an e-mail chain before the event to arrange this...
We do, however, provide bread, margarine, milk, cereal, tea and coffee as part of the event price...

Hi Peter,
Theres usually an email that flies around before the event about a group food thing and we'll give you a heads up about what the facilities are like ie microwave or ovens etc so you can plan what food to bring. I'm Worcester based and happy to pick you up from the station if you can get to Worcester or pick you up if you're on my way southward.
