To all Citizens of the Protectorate: We apologise for the extreme delay in reporting the name of the new Lord Protector. This has been due to political, diplomatic and theological matters which required a great deal of secrecy. We can now confirm the position of the Lord Protector has not been taken by an individual, but is being collectively held by the Great Henge Magistrates until an individual has been chosen - if any become suitable. The Magistrates have made it clear there will be no announcement concerning the rejection of other applicants besides those that had already been removed from the running for the position.
