Event Description
Arrive by 9.30am for a 10am start. Aim to timeover by 5.30pm.
Your group has been assembled at short notice from what we have available to investigate unusual and potentially dangerous occurrences on the borders with the Fey Forest, near Sanctuary.
Recently, mages and other magic casters belonging to several Protectorate patrols have noticed incidents in which their mana, as in their magical spell slots, is drained from their bodies. This is accompanied by a brief feeling of weakness and loss in those without magical training. While this has not caused any serious events as yet, if occurring during combat, or in a group with magical resources already low, this could have fatal results. Your mission is to head into the Fey Forest and investigate. While we have several theories as to why this might be happening, decisive action to investigate and prevent it happening again seems best.
We suggest that you initially check in with the Automatons in Sanctuary, both to obtain permission with them as the main power group in the area, but also to see if they know anything about it. Note that the Automatons of all except Fire and Earth factions are considered at least neutral, and potential allies, so approach with courtesy.

Shortly after turning off Rose Hill into Warren Lane to approach the Lickey Hills Visitor Centre, instead turn behind the church into the rather pot-holed section of Warren Lane behind the Church, and park up there on the Forest side. Additional parking is available down the side of Twatling Road.
